你的气管，也就是我们常说的“喉管”，是你呼吸道系统里的一段管道。呼吸道就像一根根管子，负责把富含氧气的空气送进肺里，同时把身体产生的废气——二氧化碳——从肺里排出去。
当你吸气时，空气从鼻子进来，经过喉部，再顺着气管往下走。到了气管的末端，它会分成左右两根支气管，分别进入你的两片肺叶。
气管可能出现的问题主要有三类：一是变窄（狭窄），二是发炎（炎症），还有一些是先天带来的遗传性疾病。如果出现这些情况，可能需要医疗干预。
有一种手术叫“气管切开术”，也就是在脖子上开个小口，把管子直接放进气管里帮助呼吸。这通常用在下面这些情况：比如吞咽困难，怕食物呛进气管；或者因为某些疾病导致咳痰无力、气道被堵住；再比如在重症监护室里，需要靠呼吸机维持呼吸的患者，也可能需要气管切开。

最该记住的一点：气管是空气进出肺的必经之路，一旦它狭窄、发炎或堵塞，医生可能会用气管切开术来帮你保住呼吸这条生命线。
